I have been a resident of the Pilbara region for over 23 years and teaching first aid for 18 years.
When my family and I first moved to the Pilbara, we lived in the remote town of Pannawonica. It was here that I realised it was vital that I learn first aid, being without family for support. I knew that if something happened to the kids it would be me that would need to administer first aid.
I completed my first aid course in 2003, then in 2009 I studied and became a trainer for St Johns. Soon after, I began volunteering as a Ambulance Officer with St Johns and a volunteer FireFighter in Wickham. It was during this time that I set up my own training business and I have had the opportunity to teach on site for Rio Tinto, the City of Karratha, the Shire of Ashburton, ISS, ESS, Sodexo and local Pilbara businesses.
I offer fully accredited First Aid Training, CPR Training, Infant and Child first aid courses and also Workplace alcohol and drug training and testing.
I also received a 15 year service award from the City of Karratha, for volunteering for the Emergency services in the community.
